Tennis can be played against a single opponent(singles) or as a team with two players on each side(doubles).Tennis is played by using a racket to hit a hollow rubber ball covered in felt.The objective of the game is to hit the ball to your opponent in such a way that they won't be able to properly hit it back.This sport originated in Birmingham, England in the late 19th century.

The game itself isn't as boring as it seems, and I enjoy being one of the few people I know that actaully plays it.The reason I had begun to play was because my parents had wanted me to play any sport.I didn't want to play a generic sport that everyone played, but I also did't want to play something that may not have that much recognition.That's why I had chosen tennis.
